Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, submit a server, or contact us. This includes your name, email address, and GitHub username if you sign in with GitHub OAuth.
We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, search queries, API calls made, and browser/device information. This data is used to improve the platform and is not sold to third parties.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to operate and improve MCPHubz, authenticate your account, process server submissions, send transactional emails (account confirmations, submission updates), and provide customer support.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your email to send weekly digest emails about new MCP servers, WebMCP updates, and platform news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.
We may share information with service providers who help operate our platform (including Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database services, and GitHub for authentication). These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may only use your information to provide services to us.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of MCPHubz, our users, or the public.
4. Cookies and Tracking
MCPHubz uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and analyze platform usage. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not track individuals across websites or sell data.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect your ability to use certain features of the platform, including authentication.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls on our database infrastructure.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Server submission records and public directory listings may be retained indefinitely as part of the historical record of the MCP ecosystem.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can update your profile information in your dashboard, or contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to object to processing. Contact us at the email below to exercise these rights.
